Michael
“Who is like God”, “Like unto God”, “Who is like the Divine”
The first Angel created by God, Michael is the leader of all the Archangels and is in charge of protection, courage, strength, truth and integrity. Michael protects us physically, emotionally and psychically. He also oversees the lightworker’s life purpose. His chief function is to rid the earth and its inhabitants of the toxins associated with fear. Michael carries a flaming sword that he uses to cut through etheric cords and protects us from negative entities. When he’s around you may see sparkles or flashes of bright blue or purple light. Call on Michael if you find yourself under psychic attack or if you feel you lack commitment, motivation and dedication to your beliefs, courage, direction, energy, vitality, self-esteem, worthiness. Michael helps us to realize our life’s purpose and he’s invaluable to light workers helping with protection and space clearing
Raphael
“Healing power of God”, “The Divine has healed”, “God heals”
Hebrew word Rapha means “doctor” or “healer”. Raphael is a powerful healer and assists with all forms of healing – humans and animals. He helps to rapidly heal body, mind and spirit if called upon, as in the biblical story of Abraham and the pain he felt after being circumcised as an adult. You may call upon Raphael in behalf of someone else, but he can’t interfere with that person’s free will. If they refuse spiritual treatment, it can’t be forced.
Raphael also combines his healing and travel talents to assure that you stay well prior to and during your vacation. Archangel Raphael often works in tandem with Archangel Michael to clear away fear and stress, which are major factors affecting health. The more you work with these archangels, the more you’ll come to trust them.
Gabriel
“Strength of God”; “The Divine is my strength”; “God is my strength”
The Archangel depicted as female in art and literature, Gabriel is known as the “messenger” Angel and is one of the four Archangels named in Hebrew tradition and is considered one of the two highest-ranking Angels in Judeo-Christian and Islamic religious lore. Apart from Michael, she is the only Angel mentioned by name in the Old Testament. She is a powerful and strong Archangel, and those who call upon her will find themselves pushed into action that leads to beneficial results.
Gabriel and Mother Mary work closely together to minister to sensitive children. They guide conceptions, adoptions, pregnancies, births, and the raising of children. Because Gabriel is deeply concerned about children’s welfare, the archangel mentors responsible and loving adults who wish to help the young. If you feel called to work with children in any capacity, please ask Gabriel to help you. Gabriel helps earthly messengers such as teachers, counsellors, writers, artists, and actors. This archangel acts like a Heavenly agent and manager who motivates you to polish your skills. Gabriel then opens the door of opportunity for you to work in your chosen career, and gives you a loving push through it if you hesitate.
Uriel
“God is light”, “God’s light”, Fire of God”
Uriel is considered one of the wisest Archangels because of his intellectual information, practical solutions and creative insight, but he is very subtle. You may not even realize he has answered your prayer until you’ve suddenly come up with a brilliant new idea.
Uriel illuminates our minds with information, ideas, epiphanies, and insights. He reminds us of a wise old uncle in this way. He’s wonderful to call upon whenever you need a solution, such as at business meetings, when writing, while studying, or when taking a test. He’ll whisper correct and appropriate answers into your ear, which you’ll receive as words or thoughts that are suddenly “downloaded” into your mind.
You can call upon Uriel to guide your intellectual pursuits. He works in tandem with the archangel Zadkiel to help students excel on tests and in school.
Chamuel
“He who sees God”, “He who seeks God”
The Archangel of pure love, Chamuel can lift you from the depths of sorrow and find love in your heart. Chamuel helps us to renew and improve existing relationships as well as finding our soul mates. He works with us to build strong foundations for our relationships (as well as careers) so they’re long-lasting, meaningful and healthy. You’ll know he’s with you when you feel butterflies in your stomach and a pleasant tingling in your body.
Zadquiel
Archangel Zadkiel is known for helping students remember facts and figures for tests; healing painful memories; remembering your Divine spiritual origin and missions; and choosing forgiveness.
In Jewish rabbinic writings, Zadkiel is described as the archangel who inspires forgiveness and compassion in people. In the Kabbalah, Zadkiel (as Tzadkiel) presides over the fourth, or Chesed, Sephirah on the Tree of Life. The Chesed sphere relates to practicing unconditional kindness and love as a manifestation of God upon Earth.
Zadkiel is one of the seven archangels in the Gnostic tradition, as well as in the Pseudo-Dionysius writings. Under his alternative name Zachariel, he was identified as one of the seven archangels by Pope Saint Gregory. Zadkiel has long been regarded as the “angel of memory,” who can support students and those who need to remember facts and figures.
Archangel Zadkiel’s dual focus upon forgiveness and memory can help you heal emotional pain from your past. The archangel can work with you on releasing old anger or feelings of victimhood so that you can remember and live your Divine life purpose. As you ask Zadkiel for emotional healing, he’ll shift your focus away from painful memories and toward the recollection of the beautiful moments of your life.
Archangel Zadkiel is a great healer of the mind, who gently leads you by the hand to take responsibility for your own happiness.
Jophiel
“Beauty of God”
Jophiel was the Angel present in the Garden of Eden and later watched over Noah’s sons. The Archangel of art and beauty, he is the patron of artists, helping with artistic projects, thinking beautiful thoughts, to see and appreciate beauty around us. Helping to create beauty at home and at work, Jophiel is the Archangel for interior decorators. He illuminates our creative spark by giving us ideas and energy to carry out artistic ventures. He also helps us to see the beauty in all things, including people.
Raguel
“Friend of God”
Archangel Raguel is known for healing arguments or misunderstandings; bringing harmony to situations; attracting wonderful new friends.
Archangel Raguel is primarily discussed in the apocryphal Book of Enoch and is listed as one of the seven principal archangels. Raguel is considered to be the archangel of orderliness, fairness, harmony, and justice. He also manages the relationships between angels and humans. In Enoch, Raguel dispensed justice to those who violated God’s will.
Ariel
Ariel means “Lion of God” and is often associated with lions. When Ariel is near you, you may begin seeing references to or visions of lions around you. Ariel is also associated with the wind. Found in books of Judaic mysticism and Cabalistic, Ariel works closely with King Solomon in conducting manifestation, spirit releasement and Divine magic.
Azrael
The much feared Angel of death in both Islamic and Hebrew lore, Azrael’s name means “whom God helps.” Azrael’s primary role is to help people cross over to Heaven at the time of physical death. He comforts people prior to their physical passing, makes sure they don’t suffer during death and helps them assimilate on the other side. Working as a grief counsellor, he surrounds grieving family members with healing energy and helps them cope and thrive, and absorbs their pain.
Camael
Camael, his name meaning “he who sees God”, he is listed as one of the seven truly powerful Angels who have the great honour of standing in the very presence of God. Originally the God of War in Druid mythology, he is frequently referred to as the ruler of the planet Mars, as well as one of the governing Angels of the seven planets.
Haniel
Haniel’s name means “the grace of God” and is generally credited with the title of prince or chief of the Angelic orders or choirs of the principalities and virtues. For this reason, Haniel is listed in some lists as one of the seven Archangels. Some Cabalistic texts credit Haniel as escorting Enoch to the spirit world where he was transformed into the Angel Metatron, being one of the only two humans to ever become Angels (his brother Elijah being the other). Associated with the planet Venus, Moon goddess energy, etheric, quiet, patient and mystical. Helps harness moons energies in potions and crystals. Assists us to stay poised and centred before any important event like speech, first date or job interview. Helps to recover lost memory of secret healing remedies.
Metatron
One of the only two Archangels whose name does not end in “el” and one of the only two Archangels who were humans before becoming Angels (his brother Elijah/Sandalphon being the other). His human name was Enoch. The meaning of Metatron is unclear, but some believe it means “he who occupies the throne next to the Divine throne”, “the Angel of the Presence” or that his name is a derivation of the name Yahweh, the Jewish term for the unspoken sacred name of God.
On earth Enoch was a prophet and scribe. He was also a scholar on heavenly secrets, having received “The Book of the Angel Raziel”, a textbook about God’s workings penned by Archangel Raziel and given to Adam, Noah, Enoch and Solomon. As a result, God escorted Enoch directly to the seventh Heaven – the highest level – to reside and work. Enoch was given wings and transformed into a great Archangel named Metatron.
Since Metatron excelled at his work on earth, he was given a similar job in Heaven to scribe the records of everything that happens on earth and keep the Akashic records, which is the “Book of Life”. He is the chief recorder in Heaven and in charge of recording and organizing all the records. He helps us understand Heaven’s perspective and to learn how to work with the Angelic realm.
Ask him to assist with chakra and aura clearing, important as this clears energies so that it is easier to connect with the angelic realm. He often use his cube which is below, connects crown and base chakra. Assists us with our spiritual growth and understanding.
Raziel
Raziel means Secrets of God, works very closely with the Creator and its believed he knows all of the secrets of the Universe and how it operates. He wrote down all of these secrets in a tome of symbols and Divine magic called “The Book of the Angel Raziel”. After Adam and Eve were expelled from Eden, Raziel gave Adam the book for guidance about manifestation and God’s grace. Later the prophet Enoch received the book prior to his ascension and transformation into Archangel Metatron. Noah was also given a copy of the book by Archangel Raphael and Noah used the information to build his ark and help its inhabitants after the flood. In art Raziel is often depicted as bringing light into darkness, seeing through people’s confusion and chaos.
Sandalphon
Like Metatron, Sandalphon’s name ends in -on instead of -el, signifying his origin as a human prophet. Sandalphon was the biblical prophet Elijah, who ascended at the end of his human life, just as Metratron did. Interestingly, Metatron presides over the entrance to the spheres of the Kabbalah’s Tree of Life, and Sandalphon presides over its exit. In Sandalphon’s human existence, Elijah was the one Jesus was compared to when he asked his disciples, “Who do the people say I am?” This may be because Elijah was said to be a precursor of the coming Messiah.
The functions associated with Sandalphon include being an intercessor for prayers between humans and God, helping determine the gender of a coming child, and acting as a patron to musicians. The Talmud and the Kabbalah describe Sandalphon as a deliverer of prayers from Earth to Heaven. This may be because of his legendary height, which is said to span from Heaven to Earth. Many musicians have benefited from calling upon Archangel Sandalphon for musical help. Sandalphon’s gracious and powerfully gentle presence can support you in developing a closer connection to God and your spirituality. He will help you feel the love of the Divine and the security of knowing that you are watched over and cared for.

Would it be possible to have your assessment of Reconnective Healing in light of Reiki? I have third degree Reiki and just discovering Reconnective Healing. It would be helpful to hear what distinguishing features are between these two healing methods.
